Embassy Legalization

A1 Apostille offers document legalizations for countries that are not members of the Hague Convention for Apostilles.  If you have documents that are required to be submitted to non-member countries, the process can be quite tedious.  

The Process of Document Legalization:

The process of legalizing a document can be quite time consuming and a bit overwhelming if you don't follow the careful steps involved.  The legalization process is four steps:

• Having the document notarized; if it is a state or federal document, notarization is not required.
• We submit the document to the appropriate Secretary of State for Certification.
• The document is subsequently sent to the United States State Department for certification.  
• The document is finally taken to the embassy of the country for their certification.

The whole process can take approximately 15 - 30 working days depending on how fast the State Department and the respective embassies process the document.
